OTTAWA SUPERIOR COURT CERTIFIES PLANITIFF'S CLAIM AGAINST NADINE PHILLIPS IN ONGOING LEGAL PRODCEEDINGS
OTTAWA, ON - on August 8, 2024, Nadine Phillips, a resident of Balmoral Place, Brockville, Ontario was identified as the individual behind an alleged scam targeting an Ottawa man through the Tinder Plus dating platform. The victim was deceived into giving away money, personal property, and, most damaging - his trust.
On July 16, 2025 the Ottawa Superior Court of Justice officially endorsed a Plaintiff's Claim, paving the way for legal proceeding against Ms. Philips. This marks a significant step in a case that has heightened public concerns about online dating scams and fraud.
The Legal proceedings are being handled by LitigateX and are expected to uncover further details regarding the nature of the deception. Updates on the case, including new developments will be provided as they become available on LitigateX.
